On 9th July the European Commission announced the final calls in the health theme of Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). Over €800 is available in this round. As usual proposals should be by international consortia. The following topics are included.

The European Commission has published details of the 2012 Work Programme under the Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7, the EU’s main research funding instrument). Across a number of themes €7 billion is available. Of key interest to the healthcare research community will be the health theme €7 Billion Funding for R&D
