Invent 2019 Competition Opens

Connect in association with Catalyst Inc has announced that the 2019 INVENT competition is now open.

INVENT is an annual competition that showcases and rewards local innovations and proof of concept ideas that have the greatest commercial potential. It’s an opportunity to gain high-profile exposure; to validate your idea and to unlock a quality network of influencers. There’s also a prize fund of £33,000 shared by the winners.

One of the most useful door-opening opportunities for science and technology innovators in Northern Ireland, the 2019 search for the region’s inventions with the greatest commercial potential is seeking applications for innovations across six categories:

  • Creative Media and Consumer Internet
  • Agri-Science
  • Life and Health Sciences
  • Engineering
  • Electronics
  • Enterprise Software
