Event: Cardiology, Commerce and Collaboration

Organised by Craigavon Borough Council in partnership with the Southern Health and Social Care Trust and Biobusiness, a one day conference on 8th February – Cardiology, Commerce and Collaboration – will focus on cardiology and life science expertise within the Borough, and explore the potential supply chain opportunities it presents for local businesses.

According to the organisers, industry and medical speakers including leading cardiologists from Craigavon Area Hospital will present current research in cardiology, along with details of the ground breaking clinical research being carried out at the hospital for a range of life sciences companies including Heartsine and Randox.

The event will also include a live link to the Cardiology Cath Lab at Craigavon Area Hospital as Dr Ian Menown performs an interventional procedure.

Funding and investment, regulatory requirements and the supply chain will also be addressed.
